Teaney, Lodge Governor (far left) and Dave McClure, Moose Rider captain, present A/101 Avn Association President Richard Bittle and Association Secretary Gil Jones a check representing funds raised from the benefit Bike Ride, Car Show, Walkathon, Raffle and Auctions. The Moose Lodge #1469 donated $16002.39 to the A/101 Aviation Memorial Scholarship fund and they also donated $2000.00 to the families of C 4/101 Avn "Black Widow" Crewmen lost in an aircraft accident in SEPT 2007.
A/101 Avn would like to thank our brother Comanchero Paul "Coyote" Wiley, the members of the Moose Riders Lodge #1469, Loyal Order of the Moose, Covington, KY, The Drawbridge Inn, The Northern Kentucky Convention & Visitors Bureau, Kentucky Patriot Guard, and the Kenton County Sheriff's Department all for the planning and organization for this benefit. We are overwhelmed and honored by the generosity, friendship and support shown to us by the people in NKY. Thank you all!
The proceeds from the benefit Ride, Car Show, Walkathon, Raffle and Auction was donated to the A/101 Aviation Association Memorial Scholarship fund which will help the children and grandchildren of A/101 Aviation Veterans receive their college education.
