A/101 Aviation Association Inc. Memorial College Scholarship Fund

The A/101 Aviation Association Inc. Memorial College Scholarship Fund is one that provides an annual scholarship to a son, daughter, grandson, and granddaughter (to include adopted and step-children) of current and former members of the A/101 Aviation Association.  Though specific criteria is established for the awarding of this annual scholarship to include documentation supporting the need for financial assistance, special consideration will be afforded those students applying whose parents, grandparents, or guardians lost their lives while performing the mission of A/101 Aviation, its antecedents, or future unit designations.

It is the association’s intent to amass a sizable amount in the fund so that future scholarships can be awarded from the interest earned without touching the principal.  This practice will ensure the scholarship fund remains in a perpetual state of being.  It is also the intent of the association to increase the number of scholarships awarded annually as well as the dollar amount of each individual scholarship.  The scholarship(s) will be apportioned over a 4-year period; therefore, and as an example, a $2000.00 scholarship would be apportioned at the rate of $500.00 annually.
