This was how some of took a shower. Note the jersey can, at the bottom of the photo. You would carry the water in a jersey can, pour it in the canvas bag ,(which had a shower head attached to the bottom), get under , lather up and rinse of before you ran out of water, If you were quick enough. |

These 3 pictures are of Saigon on the morning after Tet 68. We were loaded with troops to land on the Embassy, as we were told it was being over-run. One of those buildings in the photo is the roof top of the American Embassy were we Landed , one chopper at a time. |
